The founders: Jimmy Gasteen

After eight years in the FTSE 100 sector, Jimmy left the stressful world of global project delivery to create a platform that’d fundamentally improve it. In 2011, he co-founded Precursive with a friend from Deloitte, developing an application to keep massive teams on the same page.

Since taking Precursive to market January 2012, Jimmy has grown the development team internationally to Brazil, Bulgaria, India and Ukraine, dogfooding along the way.

He has worked with Deloitte, Reed Elsevier, is a non executive with Hireducated.com.

He is also a fervent advocate of the Cloud, especially the solutions it can bring to previously unimprovable elements of the business world. He has previously spoken about pricing strategies for online content at The Media Briefing, Ciklum, Eurocloud Day, and most recently The Cloud Computing World Forum.

The founders: Adrian Smalley

Adrian is the Co-Founder of Precursive. After studying Finance and Management at university, he started at Deloitte.

A project with SalesForce.com showed him the benefits of cloud-based business software, which eventually contributed to the basis of Precursive. Adrian heads up product development and also acts as our resident tech expert.

He spends a lot of time at start-up events around London, and not as much as he’d like on his snowboard and the golf course.
